Aurora Photos, a leading provider of Stock Photography seeks a full time Photo Researcher for an entry-level position. Tasks include fulfilling client photo requests, working closely with the sales team to ensure deadlines are met, and providing feedback to the team about image needs and keywording. The candidate should have a background in photography or the visual arts.
This entry-level position is responsible for assisting the Aurora Photos sales team in the daily research of client photo needs. The candidate will work closely with sales to ensure that appropriate and relevant images are presented to the client. The candidate should also have a strong background in the visual arts, ideally photography.
Duties include:
- Fulfilling client image requests by creating an online lightbox with appropriate and relevant photos
- Follow up with sales consultants ensuring that image selection meets or exceeds expectations and, when appropriate, results in a sale
- Provide customer service when needed, directly interacting with the client should clarification of additional details be necessary to fulfill their needs
- Ensure accurate, timely and consistent follow through with all customer requests and interactions
- Provide internal feedback on images and trends that are needed in our collection and images that are not needed
- Provide keyword and functionality feedback from both web-based and internal databases
- Participate regularly in sales meetings ensuring a full understanding of the scope and range of content and services that can be provided to its clients
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-3 years experience in customer service and a working knowledge of photography
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with imaging and graphics software preferred, such as Photoshop and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of MS Office as well as OS X
- Background in photography or the visual arts
